A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
| Dear colleagues and students, As the head of the Nursing Department at Chang Gung University, I am committed to fostering globalization, international collaboration, and outstanding research to accelerate the development of our department. In today's interconnected world, we must cultivate a global perspective and actively collaborate with peers from around the world. Through collaboration, we can harness our knowledge and expertise to collectively address some of the most pressing healthcare challenges facing the world today. In addition to admitting international students, our department will actively promote dual-degree programs with renowned nursing schools worldwide, establish student exchange programs, and encourage research collaboration among faculty members. Furthermore, we are dedicated to pursuing research excellence. Our faculty members have demonstrated outstanding research performance, and through rigorous scientific exploration and innovative thinking, we aim to make significant contributions to the field of nursing, ultimately improving human health and well-being. Additionally, we recognize the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare. AI has the capacity to provide personalized, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs, alleviating patient discomfort, enhancing quality of life, and reducing healthcare costs. In the future, we are committed to exploring the full potential of AI in nursing and incorporating these technologies into our educational and clinical programs to enhance patient outcomes and improve the quality of care.
