認知功能恢復研究室 (The Cognitive Restoration Lab)

宗旨及目標：

        每一年，許多人因疾病，意外傷害或壓力而引起認知功能損傷，神經系統之傷害較其他健康問題花費更多於住院及長期照護上。長庚大學護理系邱逸榛老師致力於認知功能及損傷的相關研究。她的研究領域包括─

l   強化認知功能: 專注力之研究

l   記憶及行為障礙: 遊走/走失之研究

l   腦部調節之變化: 壓力的生化指標, 睡眠障礙, 及憂鬱等研究

邱老師與長庚大學醫學系、林口長庚醫院、台北榮民總醫院及美國密西根大學之學者有多項合作研究計劃進行中。經由合作之努力，期望能降低病人之損失及家庭照護者之負荷，恢復病人及家庭照護者之功能，以促進其生活品質。未來邱老師的目標是希望經由教育及研究的結合，來改進相關的臨床照護，以因應二十一世紀的挑戰。
